Almosta Ranch, first established in 1970, is now located at 160th
Street and Rio Verde Drive northeast of Scottsdale. Overlooking the Rio Verde
Valley and the Four Peaks mo
untain range, Almosta Ranch is the center of what
has become a dynamic horse community.
All buildings and equipment are accented with rustic charm. The
30 acre ranch is centered by the main show barn, which includes tack rooms,
saddling areas, and the ranch offices.
The stud barn and mare motel can be found on either side of the main
barn, bringing the total number of stalls to forty. In addition, a 100' x 150"
cutting arena, 60' round pen, 160' round cutting arena, six horse hot walker,
150' x 300' reining and roping arena, large turnout pastures and 10 acres of
fenced cow pens complete the Almosta Ranch working layout.
